Understanding Bali Aqua Terms & Conditions
At Bali Aqua Dive Center, we aim to provide a seamless and enjoyable diving experience for all our guests. To ensure clarity and transparency, our Terms & Conditions outline important details regarding bookings, payments, cancellations, refunds, safety policies, and other essential guidelines. Whether you’re planning a scuba diving safari, PADI course, or fun dive, we encourage you to review these terms carefully before confirming your reservation. By booking with us, you acknowledge and agree to these policies, helping us create a smooth and hassle-free experience for everyone.
Booking & Payment Policies
To confirm your reservation, we require a deposit of 50% of the total booking amount. The remaining balance can be paid upon arrival at our dive center in cash, via credit card (Visa/MasterCard), or through bank transfer (to be completed at least one week prior to arrival). Our prices are in IDR, while other currencies are provided for convenience in bank transfers. If a bank transfer is not possible, we also offer a secure online payment link for card payments.
Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that unexpected situations may arise, preventing you from participating in your planned activities with Bali Aqua. While cancellations and changes can be inconvenient, we strive to assist our guests in these cases. To ensure clarity and fairness, please review our refund policy carefully. We strongly recommend travel insurance, as it may help cover any costs associated with last-minute cancellations or changes. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our policy, feel free to contact us before finalizing your booking.
More than 30 days before the activity: Full refund minus administrative fees. For packages including accommodation, third-party services such as boat bookings, guides, or instructors, non-refundable costs will be deducted from the refund amount.
7 to 30 days before the activity: 75% of the deposit is refundable. Any non-refundable third-party costs will also be deducted from the refund.
- 7 to 3 days before the activity: 50% of the deposit is refundable. Any non-refundable third-party costs will also be deducted from refund. Free re-scheduling possible on request and depending on our availability.
Less than 3 days before the activity: No refund of the deposit will be issued.
If you have fully paid your activity and your cancellation is more than 24 hours before activity. You might be eligible to 50% refund (daily trip and small packages)
In cases where accommodation or third-party services have been booked, refunds will depend on the provider’s cancellation policies, and non-refundable costs will be deducted from any eligible refund.
Changes & Rescheduling your dives in Bali
If you need to modify your booking, we will do our best to accommodate changes based on availability. Rescheduling might be easy for daily trip, however packages with accommodation won’t be easy if not really in advance like a month. Rescheduling requests must be made at least 7 days in advance and may be subject to additional fees. Any changes due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., sickness, flight cancellations) will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. For packages including accommodation, third-party services such as boat bookings, guides, or instructors, any non-refundable costs will be deducted from the revised booking amount. We will do our best for find the best solution for our diver.
Health & Diving Requirements
- All participants must be in good physical health and free from any medical conditions that could pose a risk while engaging in scuba diving or water activities. If you have any concerns about your fitness to dive, please let us know or consult a medical professional before booking.
- Consumption of alcohol or drugs before or during diving activities is strictly prohibited. Anyone found under the influence will not be allowed to dive.
- It is the diver’s responsibility to arrive in good physical and mental condition, prepared for the activities they have booked.
- PADI courses and dive experiences require a completed medical form before any in-water training or dives.
- It is recommended to wait at least 18 hours after diving before flying to minimize the risk of decompression sickness.
Dive Safety & Responsibilities
Safety (for the Bali Aqua team, our guests, and the ocean) is our top priority. All divers must follow the rules provided by our staff during the boat briefing and the predive briefing. Guests who fail to comply will not be permitted to dive or continue their training.
All dives at Bali Aqua are no decompression dives. We do not allow any divers, regardless of certification level or experience, to conduct decompression dives. This is for the safety of all guests and our staff.
We expect all divers to behave in a respectful and responsible manner toward our staff, other guests, and the ocean environment. Photography and videography are encouraged when conducted in a respectful manner. Any diver who engages in behavior deemed inappropriate by our staff may be asked to leave without a refund.
Divers must follow all safety guidelines set by our instructors and dive guides.
Bali Aqua reserves the right to refuse diving to anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
In case of unexpected conditions, dives may be adjusted or rescheduled to other dive sites to ensure safety.
Equipment Rental & Liability
Rental equipment must be handled with care. Any loss or damage due to negligence will be charged accordingly.
Divers are responsible for checking their gear before each dive to ensure proper functionality.
Weather & Unforeseen Circumstances
Bali Aqua Dive Center is not responsible for cancellations due to natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control. In such cases, alternative arrangements will be discussed with the customer. For packages including accommodation, third-party services such as boat bookings, guides, or instructors, any non-refundable costs will be deducted from the refund or rescheduling options.
Scheduled dive sites are subject to change due to ocean conditions, including tides, currents, waves, and visibility. We reserve the right to cancel, relocate, or reschedule any dives if conditions are deemed unsafe. Our priority is always the safety and comfort of our divers, and we will strive to provide the best alternative experience available.
Insurance & Liability Waiver
All divers should have valid travel and dive insurance covering medical emergencies and trip cancellations. We can provide you diving short term Insurance with DAN with low cost for your safety.
Guests will be required to sign a liability waiver before participating in any water & diving activity.

Booking your scuba diving adventure in Bali with Bali Aqua Dive Center is simple and hassle-free. To secure your booking, we require a deposit payment of 50% of the total cost (or full payment if preferred).

- Bank transfers are available in multiple currencies, we have bank account detail in EUR, AUD, USD, SGD, IDR, NZD, GBP, HKD, CNY, CHF, CAN. You can use your own online bank application to process transfer.
- If you can’t do a bank transfer we can provide you a DOKU secure online payment system. DOKU system accept Visa and MasterCard, but please ensure your credit card allows international online transactions and has 3D Secure authentication enabled to prevent any issues.
- The remaining balance can be settled on arrival at our dive center in Sanur, Bali, either in cash or via credit card.
- If you prefer to complete your full payment in advance, you can do so via bank transfer up to one week before your arrival to ensure a smooth check-in process.
