Two of East Bali’s most celebrated dive destinations back to back – 5 guided dives across Tulamben and Amed in just 2 days. Day 1 puts you on the legendary USAT Liberty Wreck and Tulamben Drop-Off, with a night dive on the wreck as the centrepiece of the evening. Day 2 moves to Amed for traditional jukung boat dives – the Amed Wall and the Pyramids eco-reef, where artificial structures have become thriving marine habitats covered in soft corals, nudibranchs, and reef fish. One night in a charming hotel in Tulamben, daily breakfast and lunch, all transfers and full equipment included.
This is the most natural introduction to East Bali diving available in 2 days – wreck diving, wall diving, reef diving, and a night dive, all in one compact itinerary. Two Completely Different Dive Environments in Two Days
Day 1 in Tulamben is shore diving at its finest – the Liberty Wreck and Drop-Off wall are both accessed directly from the pebble beach, with no boat transfers needed. Day 2 shifts entirely to Amed for traditional jukung boat dives on the Amed Wall and the Pyramids eco-reef. Two coastlines, two completely different underwater environments, one seamless itinerary.
The Liberty Wreck by Day and by Night – Both Included
Most 2-day packages in Bali skip the night dive. This one includes a night dive on the Liberty Wreck as standard on Day 1 – one of the most memorable dives in Bali. The wreck changes completely after dark, with hunting groupers, Spanish dancers, and crustaceans emerging under torchlight. Two dives on the same site, two completely different experiences.
The Pyramids Eco-Reef – Amed's Most Unique Dive Site
The Pyramids are unlike anything else in Bali – artificial pyramid structures placed on the seabed as an ecological restoration project, now covered in soft corals, sea fans, and abundant reef life. Accessed by traditional Balinese jukung fishing boats, this dive offers a completely different experience from the wreck diving of Day 1 – and a vivid demonstration of what marine conservation looks like underwater.
Daily Itinerary – 2-Day Tulamben & Amed Dive Package
Day 1 – Tulamben: Liberty Wreck, Drop-Off & Night Dive – 3 Dives – Overnight Tulamben
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali and transfer to our Sanur dive center for gear fitting and paperwork, then depart for Tulamben (approx. 2h30).
- Dive 1 – USAT Liberty Wreck: Arrive at Tulamben and head straight to one of the world’s most accessible wreck dives – schooling fish, vibrant soft corals, macro life, and the atmospheric wreck structure at every depth.
- Lunch with ocean views at the hotel restaurant.
- Check in at your Tulamben hotel.
- Dive 2 – Tulamben Drop-Off: Black sand wall dive with giant gorgonian sea fans, bumphead parrotfish, reef sharks, and unique critters along every surface.
- Afternoon relaxation by the pool.
- Dive 3 – Liberty Wreck Night Dive: The wreck transformed after dark – hunting groupers, Spanish dancers, and crustaceans emerging under torchlight.
- Evenings are yours to explore – our guides are happy to recommend their favourite local restaurants in Tulamben.
- Overnight in Tulamben (AC, hot water).
Day 2 – Amed: Wall Diving & Pyramid Reef – 2 Dives – Return to South Bali
After breakfast and check-out, a short 30-minute drive to Amed for two jukung boat dives.
- Dive 1 – Amed Drop-Off: Traditional jukung boat dive along a breathtaking coral wall – gorgonians, hard and soft corals, schooling tropical fish, and wide-angle reef scenery.
- Lunch and poolside relaxation at the dive base overlooking the ocean.
- Dive 2 – Pyramids Eco-Reef: Artificial pyramid structures transformed into thriving coral habitats – scorpionfish, stingrays, sea turtles, and schooling fish at every turn.
- Return to Sanur dive center then transfer to your hotel in South Bali.
Optional third dive: Bunutan drift dive – one of our favourite sites in Amed, a gentle drift along colorful coral bommies with reef sharks and schooling fish. +400,000 IDR.

Day 1 covers three dives in Tulamben – the USAT Liberty Wreck, the Tulamben Drop-Off wall, and a night dive back on the Liberty Wreck. Day 2 moves to Amed for two jukung boat dives – the Amed Drop-Off coral wall and the Pyramids eco-reef. An optional third dive in Amed at Bunutan – one of our favourite drift dive sites – is available for +400,000 IDR.
The package includes 5 guided dives with a certified multilingual Divemaster or Instructor, full diving equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, weights, 12L tank), one night in a charming hotel in Tulamben, daily breakfast and lunch, all land and boat transfers between South Bali, Tulamben and Amed, marine park entry fees, and local taxes. Dinners are at your own leisure – our guides are happy to recommend their favourite local restaurants in Tulamben.
Both packages share an identical Day 1 in Tulamben – Liberty Wreck, Drop-Off, and night dive. The difference is Day 2. The Liberty package stays in Tulamben with flexible wreck and macro dives including the Kubu Wreck. The Soft Coral package moves to Amed for jukung boat dives on the coral wall and Pyramids eco-reef. If you want to stay focused on Tulamben wreck diving, choose Liberty. If you want to experience both Tulamben and Amed, choose Soft Coral.
Solo divers are welcome. The package requires a minimum of 2 participants – either 2 divers or 1 diver with a non-diving companion. Solo travelers should contact us directly so we can check availability to join an existing group. A single room supplement of 500,000 IDR applies for private accommodation. Non-diving partners can join at a companion rate of 2,800,000 IDR, which includes hotel, meals, transfers, and snorkeling gear at suitable sites.
