Suitable for Open Water Certified Divers
The majority of this itinerary is accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent experience. Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong involve stronger currents and are better suited to Advanced Open Water divers. If conditions or certification level require it, your guide can adapt Day 3 to Padang Bai reef dives instead – same departure point, no disruption to the program.
Daily Itinerary – 4-Day Bali Dive Package
Day 1 – Menjangan Island Wall Diving – 2 Dives – Overnight Pemuteran
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali and transfer to our Sanur dive center for gear fitting and paperwork, then depart for Menjangan Island (approx. 3.5 hours).
Arrive at Labuan Lalang harbor and board a traditional outrigger boat to the first dive site (30–40 minutes).
- Dive 1 – Garden Eel: Breathtaking wall dive with giant sea fans and vibrant coral gardens, home to reef fish, nudibranchs, and angelfish.
- Surface interval on Menjangan Island with lunch and views of the volcanoes of Java.
- Dive 2 – Bat Cave: Stunning wall drop-off with schools of fish, reef sharks, and eagle rays.
- Transfer to Pemuteran hotel for check-in and relaxation.

Day 2 – Tulamben: Liberty Wreck & Night Dive – 3 Dives – Overnight Tulamben
Check-out after breakfast and transfer to Tulamben (approx. 3 hours) for a day of legendary wreck and macro diving.
- Dive 1 – USAT Liberty Wreck: Start on the black sand seabed for macro life, then explore the iconic wreck itself – bumphead parrotfish, schooling jacks, and vibrant coral formations.
- Lunch at a beachfront restaurant in Tulamben.
- Dive 2 – Tulamben Drop-Off: Dramatic wall dive with large sponges, reef sharks, and exceptional marine biodiversity.
- Dive 3 – Liberty Wreck Night Dive: Discover the wreck transformed after dark – Spanish dancers, hunting trevallies, and ghost pipefish under torchlight.

Day 3 – Gili Mimpang & Tepekong: Sharks & Drift Diving – 2 Dives – Overnight Sanur
Transfer to Padang Bai (approx. 1.5 hour) for some of Bali’s most thrilling reef and shark dives.
- Boat transfer to Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong by traditional outrigger (approx. 30 minutes).
- Dive 1 – Gili Mimpang: Exciting wall and reef dive with reef sharks, barracudas, and vibrant marine life.
- Surface interval on the boat with snacks, coffee, and tea.
- Dive 2 – Gili Tepekong: Current-rich dive featuring shark nurseries, deep reefs, and dramatic coral formations.
- Return to Padang Bai dive base for lunch, then transfer to Sanur for hotel check-in.

- Overnight in Sanur (AC, hot water).
Day 4 – Nusa Penida: Manta Point, Crystal Bay & SD Drift – 3 Dives – Return to South Bali
Transfer from your Sanur hotel to Sanur Jetty and board a speedboat to Nusa Penida (40–60 minutes).
- Dive 1 – Manta Point: Encounter graceful manta rays at their cleaning station in the shallow rocky area – a truly unforgettable experience.
- Surface interval at Crystal Bay while your guide assesses conditions.
- Dive 2 – Crystal Bay: Deep reef dive in crystal-clear waters with a chance to spot Mola Mola (seasonal, July–October).
- Lunch on the boat.
- Dive 3 – SD Point: Stunning drift dive along the north of Nusa Penida – soft corals, turtles, and schooling pelagic fish.
- Return speedboat to Sanur and transfer to your hotel in South Bali.
Dive sites may be adjusted if sea conditions do not meet our safety standards.

Certification Requirements for This 4-Day Bali Dive Package
Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong on Day 3 involve strong currents and are best suited for Advanced Open Water certified divers. The remainder of the itinerary is accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent dive experience. If conditions or your certification level require it, your guide will adapt Day 3 to Padang Bai reef dives — same departure point, no disruption to the program. We can also arrange a PADI Advanced Open Water course to complement your trip.

This 4-day package is one of the few programs covering four completely different dive environments in a single trip – Menjangan’s coral walls, Tulamben’s legendary wreck including a night dive, the dramatic drop-offs of Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong, and the manta rays of Nusa Penida. Ten guided dives, three nights in charming hotels near the dive sites, all transfers, full equipment, and daily meals – everything handled from pickup to final drop-off.
The package includes 10 guided dives with a certified multilingual Divemaster or Instructor, full diving equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, weights, 12L tank), three nights accommodation in charming hotels near each dive region, daily breakfast and lunch, all land and boat transfers, marine park entry fees, and local taxes. Dinners are at your own leisure – our guides are happy to recommend and join you at their favourite local restaurants near each hotel.
Day 1 covers Garden Eel and Bat Cave wall dives at Menjangan Island in Bali Barat National Park. Day 2 takes you to the USAT Liberty Wreck and Tulamben Drop-Off, finishing with a night dive on the wreck. Day 3 dives Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong – dramatic drop-offs with reef sharks and challenging conditions. Day 4 finishes at Nusa Penida with Manta Point, Crystal Bay, and the SD drift dive.
Most of the itinerary is accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent experience. Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong on Day 3 involve stronger currents and require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. If your certification level or conditions require it, your guide will adapt Day 3 to Padang Bai reef dives – same departure point, no disruption to the program. We can also arrange a PADI Advanced Open Water course to complement your trip.
Manta rays are visible year-round at Manta Point in Nusa Penida on Day 4, where they visit cleaning stations in the shallow rocky areas. Mola Mola sightings are seasonal, typically from July to October – this package gives you two opportunities to encounter them at Gili Mimpang on Day 3 and Crystal Bay on Day 4. While encounters can never be guaranteed, Nusa Penida is one of the most reliable places in the world to see both species.
Solo divers are welcome. The package requires a minimum of 2 participants – either 2 divers or 1 diver with a non-diving companion. Solo travelers should contact us directly so we can check availability to join an existing group. A single room supplement of 1,500,000 IDR applies for private accommodation over 3 nights. Non-diving partners can join at a companion rate of 7,500,000 IDR, which includes hotel, meals, transfers, and snorkeling gear at suitable sites.
