Stay in Sanur – No Overnight on Nusa Penida Required
Each morning you board a speedboat from Sanur Jetty for a full 3-dive day at Nusa Penida, returning to Sanur in the afternoon. One comfortable night in a charming hotel in Sanur between dive days – no rough crossings in the dark, no basic island accommodation unless you want it. All transfers, full equipment, daily breakfast and lunch arranged. You focus entirely on diving.
Daily Itinerary – 2-Day Nusa Penida Dive Package
Day 1 – Nusa Penida: Manta Point, Crystal Bay & SD Drift – 3 Dives – Overnight Sanur
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali and transfer to our Sanur dive center for gear fitting and paperwork, then to Sanur Mertasari beach for the speedboat crossing to Nusa Penida (40–60 minutes depending on sea conditions).
- Dive 1 – Manta Point: Swim with majestic manta rays at their cleaning station in the shallow rocky area.
- Surface interval at Crystal Bay while your guide assesses conditions.
- Dive 2 – Crystal Bay: Deep clear waters with pristine coral formations and a chance to spot Mola Mola in season (July–October).
- Lunch on the boat.
- Dive 3 – SD Point: Spectacular drift dive along a colorful coral reef plateau – turtles, pelagic fish, and reef sharks passing by.

Frequently Asked Questions – 2-Day Nusa Penida Dive Package
Nusa Penida is diveable year-round. Manta rays are present at Manta Point throughout the year with no true off-season. Mola Mola season runs July to October, when cold upwellings bring the oceanic sunfish to Crystal Bay – August and September offer the highest encounter probability. Sea conditions and visibility cannot be predicted by month – Nusa Penida is an exposed open ocean environment with strong currents, and conditions can change week to week regardless of season. Our team monitors conditions daily and will always brief you honestly before departure. If a site is not safe on a given day, we adapt the itinerary accordingly.
Day 1 covers Manta Point, Crystal Bay, and SD Point drift dive. Day 2 returns to Manta Point and Crystal Bay or a north Penida site depending on conditions, finishing at Mangrove Point on Nusa Lembongan for a final drift dive. Two consecutive days at the same key sites – particularly Crystal Bay – significantly increases your chances of both manta ray and Mola Mola encounters compared to a single day trip.
A PADI Open Water certification – or equivalent – is sufficient for all dives in this package. All sites are accessible to certified recreational divers with recent dive experience. If you have not dived in over 12 months, we recommend a refresher dive before departure. Contact us if you are unsure – our team will advise based on your dive history.
Yes. Non-diving companions can join for one day of their choice – either Day 1 or Day 2 – at a companion rate of 2,700,000 IDR, which includes hotel, meals, transfers, and snorkeling gear. Snorkeling is possible at suitable sites on the day your partner joins. Solo divers are also welcome – contact us directly to check availability to join an existing group. A single room supplement of 500,000 IDR applies for private accommodation.
