The only 3-day Bali dive package dedicated entirely to East Bali – and one of the most rewarding ways to explore it. Over 3 days and 8 guided dives, this itinerary takes you deep into East Bali’s most celebrated underwater environments. Day 1 starts with the legendary USAT Liberty Wreck and a night dive in Tulamben. Day 2 moves to Amed for traditional jukung boat dives, wall diving, and the Pyramids eco-reef. Day 3 finishes at Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong – dramatic rocky drop-offs with reef sharks and strong currents. Two nights in charming hotels in Tulamben, daily breakfast and lunch, all transfers and full equipment included – everything organised so you arrive ready to dive.
Prefer Nusa Penida’s manta rays and pelagic encounters? Our 3-day Turtle package adds Nusa Penida to the mix. Want more days and more dives? Our 4-day Mantis package extends the East Bali circuit with Amed and Nusa Penida both included.
While most Bali dive packages split their days between East Bali and Nusa Penida, this itinerary stays entirely in East Bali – diving three completely different environments without long transfers or rushed logistics. Tulamben, Amed and Gili Tepekong are all within the same coastal corridor, making this the most relaxed and immersive way to explore East Bali underwater.
No two days dive the same environment. Day 1 is wreck and wall diving on the iconic Liberty in Tulamben, including a night dive. Day 2 shifts to Amed for traditional jukung boat dives – drift diving at Bunutan, the Amed Wall, and the Pyramids eco-reef. Day 3 takes you to the dramatic rocky drop-offs of Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong – reef sharks, strong currents, and one of Bali’s most exhilarating dive days.
Day 1 includes a night dive on the Liberty Wreck as standard – one of the most memorable dives in Bali. Day 2 offers a flexible third dive adapted to your preference – Amed’s dramatic drop-off, a macro dive near Tulamben, or the coral garden. Your guide reads your style over the first two days and tailors Day 2’s final dive accordingly.
Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong on Day 3 require Advanced Open Water certification. If your certification level or the conditions on the day require it, your guide will adapt Day 3 to Padang Bai’s reef sites – relaxed dives rich in macro life and reef fish, same departure point, no disruption to the program.
Unlike packages that move hotels every night, this itinerary keeps you in Tulamben for two nights. You wake up metres from the dive sites, with no long morning transfers. A slower pace, deeper immersion, and more time in the water.
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali and transfer to our Sanur dive center for gear fitting and paperwork, then depart for Tulamben (approx. 2h15).
After breakfast, a short 30-minute drive to Amed for a day of boat diving on traditional Balinese jukung boats.
After breakfast and check-out, transfer to Padang Bai (approx. 1.5 hour), then board a traditional outrigger boat to Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong (approx. 30–40 minutes).
This marks the end of your 3-day East Bali diving adventure – 8 dives across Tulamben, Amed and Gili Tepekong, Bali’s most celebrated East Bali dive corridor.
Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. Your guide assesses your level across Days 1 and 2 and will advise accordingly. If conditions are too rough or your certification level requires it, Day 3 adapts to Padang Bai’s reef sites – relaxed dives rich in macro life and reef fish, same departure point, no disruption to the program.

This is the only 3-day Bali dive package dedicated entirely to East Bali – no Nusa Penida crossings, no long transfers between coasts. Over 3 days and 8 guided dives you cover three completely different East Bali environments: the USAT Liberty Wreck and night dive in Tulamben, traditional jukung boat dives and the Pyramids eco-reef in Amed, and the dramatic shark drop-offs of Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong. Two nights in Tulamben means you wake up metres from the dive sites every morning.
The package includes 8 guided dives with a certified multilingual Divemaster or Instructor, full diving equipment (BCD, regulator, wetsuit, mask, fins, weights, 12L tank), two nights in a charming Tulamben hotel near the dive sites, daily breakfast and lunch, all land and boat transfers, marine park entry fees, and local taxes. Days 1 and 2 in Tulamben and Amed are accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent experience. Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong on Day 3 involve stronger currents and require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. Your guide assesses your level across the first two days and will advise accordingly. If conditions or your certification level require it, Day 3 adapts to Padang Bai’s reef sites – relaxed dives rich in macro life and reef fish, same departure point, no disruption to the program.
The Red Frogfish package stays entirely in East Bali – Tulamben, Amed and Gili Tepekong – with two nights in Tulamben for a slower, more immersive experience. The Turtle package replaces Amed with Nusa Penida on Day 3, adding manta rays at Manta Point and Crystal Bay, with one night in Tulamben and one night in Sanur. If you want East Bali depth and flexibility, choose Red Frogfish. If you want manta rays and Nusa Penida, choose Turtle.
Solo divers are welcome. The package requires a minimum of 2 participants – either 2 divers or 1 diver with a non-diving companion. Solo travelers should contact us directly so we can check availability to join an existing group. A single room supplement of 1,000,000 IDR applies for private accommodation over 2 nights. Non-diving partners can join at a companion rate of 4,800,000 IDR, which includes hotel, meals, transfers, and snorkeling gear at suitable sites.
