Mola Mola appear seasonally from July to October – this package gives you the highest number of Mola Mola opportunities of any 4-day program, with dedicated dives at Gili Mimpang, Gili Tepekong, Crystal Bay, and the north Nusa Penida sites. No other 4-day package in our range offers this level of Mola Mola targeting.

Daily Itinerary – 4-Day Bali Dive Package
Day 1 – Tulamben: Liberty Wreck & Night Dive – 3 Dives – Overnight Tulamben
Pick-up from your hotel in South Bali and transfer to our Sanur dive center for gear fitting and paperwork, then depart for Tulamben (approx. 2h15).
- Dive 1 – USAT Liberty Wreck: Bali’s most famous dive site – start on the black sand & pebble seabed for macro life, then explore the iconic wreck with schools of fish and occasional bumphead parrotfish.
- Lunch at a beachfront restaurant in Tulamben.
- Dive 2 – Tulamben Drop-Off: Dramatic black sand wall dive with gorgonians, reef sharks, and abundant marine life.
- Afternoon relaxation by the pool.
- Dive 3 – Liberty Wreck Night Dive: The wreck transformed after dark – hunting trevallies, Spanish dancers, and crustaceans under torchlight.

Day 2 – Gili Mimpang & Tepekong: Sharks & Drift Diving – 2 Dives – Overnight Nusa Penida
Transfer to Padang Bai (approx. 1.5 hour) for boat dives at Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong.
- Boat transfer to Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong by traditional outrigger (approx. 30 minutes).
- Dive 1 – Gili Mimpang: Steep reef wall with reef sharks, barracudas, and vibrant marine life.
- Surface interval on the boat with snacks, tea and coffee.
- Dive 2 – Gili Tepekong: Advanced drift dive known for its shark nursery, swim-throughs, and strong currents.
- Return to Padang Bai dive base for lunch, then speedboat transfer to Nusa Penida (approx. 30 minutes).

- Overnight in Nusa Penida (AC, hot water).
Day 3 – Nusa Penida: Manta Point, Crystal Bay & North Penida Drift – 3 Dives – Overnight Nusa Penida
Depart by boat from Nusa Penida dive center to the island’s top dive sites.
- Dive 1 – Manta Point: Witness graceful manta rays at their cleaning station in the shallow rocky area.
- Surface interval at Crystal Bay while your guide assesses conditions.
- Dive 2 – Crystal Bay: Deep reef dive in crystal-clear waters with a chance to spot Mola Mola (seasonal, July–October).
- Return to dive center for lunch.
- Dive 3 – North Penida Drift: Pristine coral plateau with schooling reef fish and pelagic species passing by.

Day 4 – Nusa Penida: Mola Mola Hotspots & Return to South Bali – 2 Dives
A second full day of diving in Nusa Penida targeting Mola Mola hotspots and high-current pelagic sites.
- Dive 1 – East Nusa Penida: Deep reef known for Mola Mola sightings (seasonal, July–October) and strong pelagic action.
- Surface interval with refreshments on board.
- Dive 2 – North Penida high-current site: Dramatic coral formations and schooling pelagic fish.
- Optional third dive available in the early afternoon – ask our Nusa Penida dive center team on the day based on conditions and your energy levels.
- Lunch at the dive center and hotel check-out.
- Return speedboat to Sanur and transfer to your next destination in South Bali.
This marks the end of your 4-day Bali diving adventure – two days in Nusa Penida, maximum big animal action.
Certification Requirements for This 4-Day Bali Dive Package
Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong on Day 2 involve strong currents and require Advanced Open Water certification or equivalent. The remainder of the itinerary is accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent experience. If conditions or your certification level require it, your guide will adapt Day 2 to Padang Bai reef dives – same departure point, no disruption to the program. We can also arrange a PADI Advanced Open Water course to complement your trip.

Dinners are at your own leisure – our guides are happy to recommend and join you at their favourite local restaurants near each hotel.
Day 1 covers the USAT Liberty Wreck, Tulamben Drop-Off, and a Liberty Wreck night dive in Tulamben. Day 2 dives Gili Mimpang and Gili Tepekong – dramatic drop-offs with reef sharks and strong currents – before transferring to Nusa Penida. Days 3 and 4 are fully dedicated to Nusa Penida – Manta Point, Crystal Bay, north Penida drift dives, and east Nusa Penida Mola Mola sites.

While encounters can never be guaranteed, Nusa Penida is one of the most reliable places in the world to see both species.
Solo divers are welcome. The package requires a minimum of 2 participants – either 2 divers or 1 diver with a non-diving companion. Solo travelers should contact us directly so we can check availability to join an existing group. A single room supplement of 1,500,000 IDR applies for private accommodation over 3 nights. Non-diving partners can join at a companion rate of 6,900,000 IDR, which includes hotel, meals, transfers, and snorkeling gear at suitable sites.
