However Bali is also a party hub, and better you keep extra day off and have a longuer internship if you want to discover Bali night life.

While Bali is a world-class diving destination, Indonesian regulations prohibit foreigners from working as Divemasters (DM) at the professional level. This role is reserved for Indonesian citizens due to strict work permit laws. However, if you’re a foreigner passionate about working in Bali’s dive industry, pursuing an Instructor certification (e.g., Open Water Scuba Instructor, OWSI) is the pathway, as higher-level teaching roles may qualify for legal work permits.

For newly certified Divemasters (especially foreigners), we recommend exploring opportunities outside Indonesia, such as Europe, Australia, USA or the Caribbean, where DM roles for foreigners are more accessible. Our dive center provides global job placement support and industry connections to help you find positions worldwide.

Yes! The course materials are available in multiple languages, and our instructors speak various languages. However, basic English skills are beneficial for working as a dive professional worldwide.
