Diving at Secret Bay – Gilimanuk:
After the dives, enjoy lunch on site with views over the bay.
In the early afternoon, the group will visit Pura Pabean, a coastal temple where local fishermen leave their offerings. The site is often frequented by Balinese macaques, adding a lively twist to the visit.
Return to the hotel in Pemuteran by late afternoon for a relaxing swim or poolside break. Dinner will be at a local restaurant, a short walk away.
Non-Diver Program:
Join a hands-on traditional Balinese cooking class guided by a local chef. You will explore the ingredients, techniques, and flavors that make Balinese cuisine so unique. Enjoy lunch featuring your own creations at the chef’s restaurant. In the afternoon, rejoin the group for a visit to Pura Pabean, a coastal temple where local fishermen make their offerings. You will enjoy three dives today on some of Bali’s most beautiful underwater walls, covered in soft corals, gorgonians, and home to reef fish, turtles, and the occasional pelagic visitor.
Return mid-afternoon to the hotel. Relax with a swim in the pool or enjoy a fresh fruit juice in the garden before heading to a local warung for dinner.

After breakfast, we set out for two morning dives:
Lunch will be served at the hotel, with time to relax afterward by the pool.
Afterward, enjoy downtime and a relaxing dinner at a local warung.
Note: Sites may be adjusted depending on conditions, recent marine life activity, or guest interests, one of the many advantages of staying several nights in Tulamben.
Non-Diver Program:
Today, you will explore the serene Sidemen Valley, one of Bali’s most picturesque rice terrace regions. Begin with a short, guided hike through the emerald-green fields, taking in the tranquil scenery. Enjoy a traditional mountain lunch with a panoramic view over the valley. Enjoy lunch in a local seaside restaurant before returning to Amed via the stunning coastal road. End the day with a sunset dinner on the beach alongside the group.

The 13-day safari includes 21 guided dives across Bali’s top underwater sites – wrecks, walls, macro sites, drift dives, coral gardens, and manta ray encounters. Dives are distributed across four distinct regions: Gilimanuk, Menjangan, Tulamben, Amed, and Nusa Penida. A full dive schedule is available in the program PDF.
We maintain a maximum of 4 divers per guide throughout the safari to ensure personal attention, safety, and the best possible underwater experience. Group departures typically have around 10 participants in total. Private safaris can be arranged for groups of 6 to 30 or more divers and non-divers.
Full dive equipment is included in your safari price. If you prefer to use your own gear, that is perfectly fine. We recommend bringing your own dive computer and underwater torch. Camera rental is available on request – contact us in advance to arrange.
This is a scheduled group safari so the route and dive sites are planned in advance. Our guides regularly adapt daily site choices based on conditions and diver profiles. Travelling with a group or club? Private safari dates with a fully customised itinerary can be arranged – contact us for details.
The 13-day safari is Bali’s most complete dive circuit. Starting in northwest Bali, you dive Secret Bay in Gilimanuk and the walls of Menjangan Island inside Bali Barat National Park. Moving east, the safari covers Tulamben’s Liberty Wreck, Kubu Wreck, Drop-Off, and macro sites at Seraya Secret. Amed’s coral gardens and Pyramid eco-reef follow by traditional jukung boat. The safari concludes at Nusa Penida with Gili Tepekong, Gili Mimpang, Manta Point, Crystal Bay, and north shore drift dives.
The 9-day safari focuses on East Bali – Tulamben, Amed, and Nusa Penida – covering 15 dives across 8 nights. The 11-day safari adds Padang Bai at the start for 20 dives across 10 nights. The 13-day safari is the full island circuit – it adds the entire northwest region of Bali including Pemuteran, Menjangan Island, and Secret Bay Gilimanuk, for 21 dives across 12 nights. If you want to experience every major dive region in Bali in one trip, the 13-day is the only program that covers them all.
Most dive sites on this safari are accessible to Open Water certified divers with recent experience. Some sites in the second half of the program – including Gili Tepekong and Crystal Bay – involve stronger currents and are better suited to Advanced Open Water level. These sites are deliberately scheduled later in the safari, after you have had time to build confidence in Bali’s conditions. Our guides assess every diver individually and adapt the dive plan accordingly. An Advanced Open Water course can also be incorporated into the program at a special rate.
The 13-day safari runs year-round with fixed group departures every two weeks. Manta rays are present at Nusa Penida throughout the year. Mola Mola sightings at Crystal Bay are most likely between July and October. Macro life at Gilimanuk and Tulamben is productive in all seasons. Sea conditions and visibility vary by region and cannot be predicted by month alone – our team monitors conditions daily and adapts the dive plan accordingly. Contact us for upcoming departure dates and current availability.
